Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a form of alternative medicine and a key component of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The general theory of acupuncture is based on the premise that there are patterns of energy flow (Qi) through the body that are essential for health. The goal of acupuncture is to balance the body as a whole, achieving harmony emotionally, physically and spiritually. From the perspective of Western Medicine, acupuncture can stimulate the nervous system to release natural painkillers and immune system cells and increase blood flow to the injured area.
