Patients can now grow their own medical marijuana

In a landmark announcement by Health Canada today, medical marijuana patients will now be able to grow their own cannabis, with the approval of their doctor and Health Canada.

If the patient is not healthy enough to grow their own cannabis, they can designate someone to grow it for them, or they can still get product from one of the 34 Licensed Producers approved by Health Canada.

If you are approved for medical marijuana, you can register with Health Canada to grow a “limited” amount of cannabis for your own medical purposes. This new change will go into effective on August 24, 2016.

If you have any questions regarding this ruling, on getting a prescription for medical marijuana or on choosing a Licensed Producer in Canada, please give us a call: 403-475-4205.

Good day just have a few questions, I have add and suffer from colitis, and as weird as it sounds I want to quit smoking cigarettes, but I’m scared because after I quit for a few weeks I start to get flare ups again. So I started smoking again and my flare ups calmed down I don’t know what it is with the cigarette. I just want to quit smoking to better my heal and hopefully there’s something that would work so I don’t have to take medications for it
